Wentworth Institute of Technology Student Branch
Wentworth’s Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) is a student branch of the international IEEE organization. Our club welcomes anyone no matter their major. WIT IEEE is a gathering of those who are interested in collaborating their ideas about electrical and electronics with like minded students. Every academic year, we have events and projects planned for our members as well as tours to nearby companies that pertain to IEEE. Some of the companies that our club has toured are SPIRE Corp, Draper, and RMD. Some of our projects include teaching our members the basics of robotics using NXT robotics kits, programming autonomous robots, aerial vehicles (quadcopter), Vex Robotics, Bicycle Powered Alternator and LED matrix cube. WIT IEEE is always open to new ideas for competitions and projects. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions, comments, or ideas.
