The reliability and safety of nuclear power plants is critical today and for the future as the world continues to rely on nuclear power to feed an ever-growing demand for power. Dr. Michael Yastrebenetsky will be speaking on nuclear control system reliability and his own Chernobyl experience.

Dr. Yastrebenetsky is one of the leading experts in nuclear control system reliability, editor of the electronic journal Reliability: Theory & Applications, and vice-president of the Gnedenko Forum (gnedenko-forum.org)
