Consultants Network – 6:30PM, Monday 18 May
Creative Avoidance: Why We Spend Time Doing Other Things Instead of Actively Growing Our Business By Jason Hartz
Certain behaviors are cemented early in one’s career and are difficult to break. One may be filling their days with non productive behavior. What’s the difference between being active vs. productive in your business? Creative avoidance is code for staying in your comfort zone. This leads to ineffective behaviors when selling, prospecting, or getting lost in multiple bid situations. Other creative avoidance can take the form of not asking difficult questions in the sales process, and relying solely on referrals to grow business, or not even asking for referrals.
Jason Hartz is an associate of Revenue Performance Group (RPG). Over the last 12 years Jason has used the Sandler Sales Methodology to successfully open, own and grow three top performing businesses. During that time he has also managed a successful sales force that grew the business 50%. In addition to training and coaching, Jason is frequently called on to deliver Key Note addresses at conferences and national sales conventions.
Jason’s passion is helping other business owners, sales managers, and CEO’s use the tested Sandler methodology to impact top and bottom line growth and build lasting change within the organization. From RPG’s main training facility in Waltham and around the country he provides professional development and unique sales and sales management solutions to the challenges faced by salespeople, sales managers, executives and other professionals who must build a client base for their products and services. Jason has worked with companies as diverse as Oracle, NDR Research, Ross Mortgage, Tempur Sealy, Fitness Together Franchise, to single unit business owners and non selling professionals.
