Biography:

Dr. Venu Gopinathan received his undergraduate degree from IIT Madras and a PhD in EE from Columbia University, NY. He worked at Texas Instruments, both in research labs and in large product development and Bell Labs, Murray Hill and Broadcom Corporation. He also cofounded a startup in the interventional cardiology. In 2016, he joined Analog devices to spearhead its expanding efforts in healthcare. He was elevated to be a ADI-fellow in 2021, the highest technical honor at ADI.

Venu holds several tens of patents and a healthy list of publications in reputed referred journals in the field of circuit design and communications. He has also served as Associate editor of IEEE Journal of solid-state circuits and as the chair of the Data Converter subcommittee of ISSCC for many years.
