All are invited to attend. Women in STEM is a lecture series, exploring themes related to women in STEM fields. We celebrate Women in Space, as part of our Women in STEM series of lectures.

Ms. Debbie Martinez is the Execution Manager for the Transformative Aeronautics Concepts Program (TACP)/ Convergent Aeronautics Solutions (CAS) Project.

The CAS project conducts short-duration research activities to establish early-stage concepts and the feasibility of technology with high potential to solve key barriers associated with large-scale aeronautics problems.

Martínez has earned a B.S. in Computer Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, A.S. in Engineering from TNCC, M.E. in Modeling & Simulation Engineering from Old Dominion University, and a Private Pilot license from Langley Air Force Base Aero Club.

Recipient of the 2015 NASA Equal Employment Opportunity Medal.

Ms. Debbie Martínez is an Engineer Project Manager working at NASA Langley Research Center (LaRC) since 1990 supporting NASA aeronautics and space exploration missions. She has over 28 years of experience in engineering, technical, and managerial positions supporting both Aeronautics and Space mission projects
