In this dynamic session, we discuss topics including: developing a staffing plan, the benefits of an organizational chart, the different types of staffing, and recruiting strategies. Then we will discuss retaining employees; benefits and compensation plans, creating team culture, managing growth, and communication.

These discussions will focus on real world examples from seasoned entrepreneurs, equity partners, and recruiters.

Praveen Sahay, Founder & Managing Director, WAVE Equity Partners

Praveen is founder and managing director at WAVE Equity Partners, which invests in innovative high growth companies in the energy, food and water industries. Typical investment amounts in a company, across 2-3 rounds, are $10-20M. Praveen is a graduate of The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

E-Minute Presentations will be given at the start of the meeting. These very short presentations enable young startup entrepreneurs to gain experience in presenting their summary business plans to expert panels and audiences.
