National Guard Cyber Protection Teams. Major General L. Scott Rice will describe the Massachusetts National Guard mission to train and equip troops to support national security objectives as well as protect life and property as well as to preserve peace, order and Public Safety in times of National Disaster and Civil Emergency. As part of this mission the National Guard will activate 13 new Cyber Units as part of ongoing efforts to provide a National Cyber Defense force.

Major General Rice is currently assigned as The Adjutant General, Massachusetts National Guard overseeing the administration and operation of the Massachusetts National Guard. His experience in nearly three decades of service in the active duty military and the Guard includes the 104th Fighter Wing. He is rated as a Command Pilot and has 4300 Fighter Hours; flown F-111 (493rd Tactical Fighter Wing) and A-10.

The meeting will be held at the Lincoln Lab Auditorium, 244 Wood Street., Lexington, MA at 4:00 PM.

Refreshments will be served at 3:30 PM. Registration is in the main lobby.

Foreign national visitors to Lincoln Lab require visit requests.
