Artificial Intelligence, How it is currently applied and near term potential uses. Who is practicing Artificial Intelligence and how effective is it in its present embodiment.

Jim is President Emeritus of the IEEE Computer Society, Past VP of the IEEE Society on the Social Implications of Technology and a past IEEE Director. He has been tracking the evolution of AI for some time, and also the related IEEE Standards activities on Ethically Aligned Design: A Vision for Prioritizing Human Well-being with Autonomous and Intelligent Systems (A/IS) (See http//is.gd/AIethics )

The meeting will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday March 14th at MIT Lincoln Laboratory, 244 Wood St, Lexington, MA.
